Joe is directly responsible for an initiative to recruit, hire, and retain individuals with disabilities in the workforce. He is an expert in how behaviors and attitudes can be improved through hiring practices, training programs, and feedback systems. Joining Walgreens in 2008, Joe has successfully placed over 1/3 people with disabilities into the company’s workforce; and he has begun to expand the initiative into
the company’s retail stores. His interests center on individual assessment, training and development, work/life balance, motivation, and organizational climate.
