Jenny Castle, Human Resource Manager Walgreen’s Connecticut Distribution Center  
Since 1998, Jenny has united with her operational partners to provide strategic HR Support.   Walgreens Distribution Center actively recruits, employs and retains people with disabilities by providing competitive employment.  "Every day I learn something new about staffing and managing an inclusive workforce.  This has allowed me to apply my experience in new and unique ways."  Jenny hopes to share her experiences with other businesses to help them see the benefits of this business model.

Joe Wendover, Outreach Manager Walgreen’s Connecticut distribution center
Joe is directly responsible for an initiative to recruit, hire, and retain individuals with disabilities in the workforce.  He is an expert in how behaviors and attitudes can be improved through hiring practices, training programs, and feedback systems.  Joining Walgreens in 2008, Joe has successfully placed over 1/3 people with disabilities into the company’s workforce; and he has begun to expand the initiative into the company’s retail stores.  His interests center on individual assessment, training and development, work/life balance, motivation, and organizational climate.
